STEP 1:
Log into your railroad. Select Equipment.
STEP 2:
Select History.
STEP 3:
Select Activity.
STEP 4:
Fill out the information provided in the ticket. If they want to know specific MOVE types, they will need to specify that. You can also specify the From/To road that will help minimize the options.
STEP 5:
You will want to save these cars as an excel sheet. Select File - Save As.
STEP 6:
You cannot directly save this to your desktop due to a broken connection so you will want save as a CSV first and then go back into it and then open what you save.
STEP 7:
Select File and save as again and search your file by entering its name and selecting CSV. Your file should populate.
STEP 8:
Right click on your file - Open with - Excel
STEP 9:
If you notice the Excel that opens is different from your standard Excel. This one will not allow you to save to your desktop. You will need to copy the information on the 1st Excel and paste it into a new Excel sheet. From here you can save and send to the crews.
STEP 10:
Save to your Desktop and then you can respond to the Crews and drag & drop the Excel sheet as a response.
If you cannot figure out how to save the excel sheet you can simply screen shot the report and send them that, but if you have multiple screen shots it can become difficult for them to read.
