Sometimes a ticket will come through that doesn't specify what railroad it is for. There are a few ways to figure this out.

 

Example 1: Click on the Sender's Name.  

This will open up all the emails he has previously sent. You can then click on the last email sent to see what railroad was designated to him. In this case, it is the ACR.  

 

Look to the right-hand side of your screen to see the ticket details



Example 2: Search the railcar ID in Railinc.


Unfortunately, this search left us empty handed. It still shows tracing on the Class 1 lines. This happens sometimes when railcars are handed to us in error and not reported.


 

Example 3: Open up the email handles. Ops emails sometimes hide behind the more selection.




Example 4: Search the sender using a new email. Open your email and select New Email.

 

Type in your sender's name and hover over their name. A box will populate and most generally they have their work title along with the railroad they work for.
