The KNWA will call in to request a unit train be brought online.

You have to make sure to ASK them who these are for, as the billing will not depict who they are for.

Sometimes they will say where they are headed and not who they are for.

Note: Power Mountain = POWMOW (Load in Belle - H50 track)

Mammoth - MAMMOT (Load in Cannelton - H60 track)

Pocahontas = POCHOL (Load in Page - Pocahontas Holding track)

Kanawha River = KANRIV (Load in High Power - H81 track)

STEP 1:

Go to your inbound screen

STEP 2:

Search your trace car in the Eqmt Init/Num bars. You know this is the correct one since it has today's date and around the same number of cars requested. (112)

STEP 3:

Double click on the consist and bring up the list. The first thing you will notice is the lack of billing attached to these cars.

STEP 4:

Fill in your inbound information if it isn't already auto filled. KNWA IS 1 HOUR AHEAD OF US.

STEP 5:

Right click in your RWC box of the first car and select the correct RWC. They informed me during this phone call that these were headed to H50 in Belle which is for Kanawha River Terminals = KANRIV.

If you are not sure how to locate the correct RWC please ask.

We don't want to send 111 railcars to the wrong location.

STEP 6:

After selecting your RWC you will want to select all railcars and copy the RWC all the way down, so it applies to all 111. You can select the first car, hold down your SHIFT key and then select your last car. This will highlight all of them.

Select Copy RWC.

STEP 7:

After you have all your inbound information entered and the proper RWC applied to all railcars you are good to select the check mark inbound button. This will essentially "build" and empty waybill for KANRIV dated today. This is why this process is different; we have to manually create the billing to bring these online.

Note: Sometime the crews have already moved these cars to H50 so you will need to apply an ARI move once online to move them to Belle - H50 (if they advise this).

If they don't just bring them online to the IB track where they were received by the Class 1.

Usually these are phone call request so no need to let the crews know they are online. Just mark your ticket complete.
