Williams and Oneok share many of the same shippers, and from time to time they will request for some cars to be reconsigned.
Before the cars can be reconsigned, we need to make sure they have not been PAC yet. If they have not been PAC, you need to make sure that both Williams and Oneok agree to the reconsignment.
Once we have an approval from both, the RWC can be updated. Make sure to send the RWC change to CSRequest, and to send the reconsignment to KO Billing so that any charges can be checked.
If the cars are already PAC, there will charges associated with the reconsignment.
You will nee to email billing to verify the tariff is the same. Once the tariff is confirmed, the tariff and list of cars it will apply to needs to be sent to the customer the cars will be updated to show.
- You will need both customers to approve of the reconsigning.
- You also need the customer the cars are being reconsigned to, to approve of the tariff in an email.
- Make sure that KO Billing is on the email or is send the email to KO Billing so that they have a good record.
If the customer does not accept the tariff for the reconsignment, do not reconsign the cars!
If the customer accepts the tariff, you can then update the RWCs on the cars, and release the cars out of PAC status.
Send the update to KO Operations so that they can get the cars pulled from one customer, and spotted at the other’s facility.
Send the RWC change to CS Request.
