The KO moves trains loaded down with wind turbine blades.
Most of these cars will come online as loads. A few of the cars will come online as empties – that is correct! Do not code up the empties as setbacks- they are not setbacks!
The wind turbine blades are so long that they sometimes hang over the edge of a railcar. A second, empty, car will follow it to carry any excess.
The cars will show consigned for Vestas American, but the RWCs will show for WATPAW
Once the cars are online, crews will take care of placing them to Larned 8703.
Watco Supply Chain is responsible for releasing the cars, once they are unloaded. Your main contacts here will be Beth and Jeff. Typically, they will call in their releases because they cannot release all of the cars in Dock.
Loaded cars can be RMT.
Empty cars will have to be rebilled using an empty, outbound RWC.
All cars should be blocked up to the Class One, and then email a release confirmation to Supply Chain.
