Progress Rail is a scrap customer that will scrap (dismantle) cars.
STEP 1: Open the Excel sheet and copy the cars into a switch list in WATSS.
STEP 2: Once in a switch you will want to make sure all cars are blocked to Progress Rail.
Please note - in this example these cars do not show PAC but in an actual scenario, they would be.
STEP 3: You will go into each waybill and under the WATSS tab update the status to SC (scrap). Make sure to save.
STEP 4: Once all cars have been updated to scrap, check the far-right status of your railcars for SC to confirm.
STEP 5: Once all cars are updated to SC you will select all railcars and do a RMT move in the track that they currently sit.
THIS IS NOT A CHARGABLE MOVE SO SELECT NO.
STEP 6: Once released, you will build a consist and deliver them off to the Port Birmingham Shop. DO NOT SEND EDI.
STEP 7: Let them know this is complete.
