We have customers in Houston that load containers on to flats cars. The flat car WILL NOT bill in ARMS until the billing has been sent to the PTRA for the containers and they have ramped the containers onto the flat car. This will, in turn, bill the car and you can mark it for setout.
PLEASE NOTE: Car(s) cannot be added to the OB list until the car is showing billed in ARMS.
Once we are notified that the flat car is ready to go out, contact the Account Manager and they will get with the customer to get the containers billed.
After you receive the billing, send an email to the PTRA, attaching the billing to the email and ask the PTRA to ramp the containers onto the car.
After they have ramped the containers, PTRA will send out an email that the car is now billed and you can add the car to the OB list. At this time, we do not ramp the car in Watss.
