WDR1 Setbacks and Rejecting a car in ARMS

Setbacks will originate from the PTRA. If you think a car is a setback, please reach out to csb@ptra.com to find out if they gave us the car in error. Once they have confirmed that the car is a setback, partial seed the SB RWC in Watss to the waybill. Please make sure to check that the SB indicator has been flagged on the waybill and mark the car for setout on the current day’s outbound list:
Please send a follow up email to the PTRA, copying in the following emails, that you have setback the car:

Rejects:
We do not rebill with a reject RWC in Watss cars that are being rejected. Please note: We do not accept cars with Home Shop stickers. These will not be rejected. You will need to report the car as having home shop stickers to the PTRA and mark it for setout as a setback.

To Reject a car in ARMS:
When you receive an email stating that the car is rejected, locate your car in ARMS:
Once you have located your car, on the left hand side, click the box next to the car and hit “Reject Car” at the top:
In the next screen that pops up, select your reject code from the drop down and any notes you would like to add. After completed, hit the “Reject Car” button on the lower right hand side of your screen:
After you have rejected the car, it will take you to your home Inventory screen. Once you have updated your car, the car should go into PU status. If it does not, please contact the PTRA.
Please reply/send an email to the the following email addresses to report the car as being rejected and add the car to the current day’s OB list, making sure to check the back page of the waybill has the RJ indicator saved:
