Hi-Wides have a special process in Houston. Hi-Wides will always need to be inspected by the PTRA before we can move the car. We have no good way of knowing if the car is a Hi-Wide other than when we look in ARMS, you will be able to see that the car is in “IN” (inspection) status.
PLEASE NOTE: We cannot add a car to the outbound list until it has been inspected by the PTRA, good billing or not.
You may see many emails back and forth between the customer, PTRA and usually the KDOCK Team but until you receive the following email, you cannot add the car to the daily OB list. When in doubt, please reach out to the PTRA to double check if it is ok to pull.
Once the car is inspected, CS4 will receive an email from Suzy Hendricks that states that the car is ready to move. It will be very similar to the following email. Once you receive this email, you can mark the car for setout:
