Processes you will need:
Important: Terminals are NOT like a Railroad when it comes to billing. You do not need to see billing in Watss unless otherwise stated. Due to the commodities we handle at Refugio, it is imperative that you use the correct times and dates that are on given on the email.
Refugio Customer Service will send in an email stating that they have received an Anderson’s Rock Train from the UP on an Excel spreadsheet with the cars and the sequence that the train arrived. These trains will come in loaded and go out empty. You may receive an advance from the UP in the form of an Excel spreadsheet but pay close attention to Refugio’s list. They will check the train for the sequence the cars are in.
- Log into Watss
- Create a manual inbound, paying close attention to the time, date and sequence of the cars. When creating your inbound, you will need to update your l/e status when entering your cars as “L”.
- Create manual billing by using the process provided, Creating Manual Waybills. The RWC ANDERSON1 has the limestone STCC included.
- ICHR the cars to trk 1IB trk. and reply that the train is online.
For the UP to pick the train up once it is emptied, it will need to show empty in their system. Usually, Refugio Customer Service will handle this but if they are having trouble, please get either a few trace cars or the Train Symbol ID. Call the UP and ask for the “Rock Desk” and let them know who you are, that you are trying to release empty a unit train at the terminal in Refugio, Texas and give them the information that you have collected. They should be able to help you get the train emptied.
