Important:   Terminals are NOT like a Railroad when it comes to billing.  You do not need to see billing in Watss unless otherwise stated.  You will not receive any billing at Wood River (WRR1) to bring cars online. The billing will need to be manually created.  Please refer to you Creating Manual Waybills process provided in Freshdesk. I have included the Class 1 Railroads that they interchange with as well as the customers for Wood River at the bottom of this process.

Crews will send in an email, stating that they have received cars and which Railroad that they have received the cars from, if they are loaded or empty and the commodity.  If the email does not state any of these things, you’ll need to contact crews to get this information.

Pay careful attention to the email because we do not use current date and time.  Crews will also send in both inbounds and outbounds and the dates of the interchanges on the same email.  It is important for storage charges that we bring these cars on correctly.

The other information that you will need off of your email is which track and sequence (spot) the cars are located.  You will also need to note the commodity and l/e status of each car plus the customer.  Wood River Crews will copy us on emails to the customer to bring cars online.   Make note of this when you are replying.

You can create your manual billing at interchange off of the interchange as described in the process in Freshdesk.  Refer to the section “To Create a Waybill from the Inbound Consist Screen”.  You will need to create your waybill using the correct RWC for the customer, l/e status, commodity and date.  Using your manual inbound process provided in Freshdesk, you can either bring them online to the inbound track, move them to the tracks and resequence or bring them online to the track and sequence provided:

To locate an RWC by commodity in the RWC screen, you will need to look for you commodity on the far right side of your screen:

Once you have created your Inbound Consist, bring cars online.  Double check to make sure the cars have come online correctly and in the correct track and sequence.
