Unicar/Altivia Switch from Tylar Grau
You will get the below email.
You’ll open the excel sheet labeled Switching Notes. There will be three separate “outbound” columns (Altivia, DOW, GLUT). You’ll type the cars showing in each outbound column into one switchlist in WATSS. We need to make sure to read the Destinations, L/E status, and the comments.
COMMENT DEFINITIONS -
“Scale out (weigh ticket needed) and send to New Yard” = loaded billing will be applied in the history, car should still show blocked to UNICAR.
“Scale out (weigh ticket needed) and Release to NS” = loaded billing will be applied in the history, car should show blocked to the NS. If car is in PCON, release from PCON.
“Send to New Yard” = no billing submitted yet, cars will show blocked for UNICAR (ops have to pull them to weigh)
“Please pull and scale out” = billing to the NS is submitted
“Release / Release to NS” = confirm car is showing released for the NS, also confirm the L/E status next to the car.
“Repair Track” = Leave cars in Loaded PAC status, Ops will IPS to the repair track and then we’ll release them empty on the next switch. PLACE CAR IN BLG DO NOT CHANGE BLOCKING (DOW WILL LET US KNOW WHEN THE CAR IS REPAIRD. )
“Release Empty” = Dow/Unicar will release their own cars in DOCK. DO NOT RELEASE CARS.
Before Tyler sends in his Switching Notes email, we’ll get an email usually from Institute Bulk Shipping with an attachment on the cars they want to release empty. So the cars are typically released prior to Tyler’s email, Tyler’s email is just us double-checking they are released.
