SI Interruption Process

 

Enclosed is the new Service Interruption template that the field teams will fill out and send back to us when they have a situation that interrupts their service.    Below is what has been sent out to all our RR’s GM’s and Sales team.  If we receive this form, then we need to use that information to send an email to our customers and or class 1 RR’s.   Below is where to find the template, the message that was sent to the field and an example of the email that you will find in FreshDesk utilizing the following process.

Below is a copy the template for SI.  When you are needing to insert a map.  Please use the ArcGIS tool, or use the map with the road on the Watco.com website.   

 

 

 

  

 

Dear Valued Customer/Class 1 RR,

 

Please be advised that the following area(s) of the _______ Railroad will be out of service from _start date__ to _end date__, due to _____________. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to our team. We do apologize for any inconvenience.

 

The outage will be on the _______ Subdivision, starting in _______, between milepost ___ and ending at milepost___. This outage should end at station ______.  At this time the outage length is expected to be ___________(hrs, days, weeks).

 

We have added a map below to show you the exact locations that will be impacted. (If Class One’s or Interchanges will be impacted, add that in here). The Customer Service Team will be in close communication with Operations and will send out updates as we can.
