My Work Order
When these work orders come in, there are two different sets of work that they require.
1. Build work order
2. Confirm cars are released and on OB track
How to build work order
The first half of the work order is “Place to Industry” cars. This means build a manual inbound.
Type car number
Enter load or empty
Right click RWC block and select RWC
--Use the load/empty status of on the work order and commodity type to determine the RWC. You can edit the STCC code to match the work order after selecting your RWC.
Most of the cars will just be INTCSEBOX (empty) or INTCSLPULP (load).
These will be the printing paper, scrap, pulpboard, cakes/cathodes, tomatoes, ect.
The ones that need to be double checked are the oil and hazmat ones
These will be the tall oil, sulfuric acid, corrosive liquid, etc.APPLYING THE CORRECT RWC IS VERY IMPROTANT FOR HAZMAT.
These are the only Inbound, International Paper RWCs from the CSXT.
Empty-
Once you have a full list built- leave it! Save the list, label it “work order,” and leave it there.
DO NOT bring them online.
Operations will receive a WatchMan Railcar Report to bring these cars online later. It looks like this: If the Consist isn't built yet we cannot bring these cars online.
Confirm Cars are released and on OB Track
The second half of the work order is “Pull from Industry” cars. This means the cars need to show in a released status and on the CSXT OB Track.
All cars on the pulls should be online and moved to location requested by the crew.
If the Work Order shows loaded HAZARDOUS cars, you will need to manually bill those outbound with the correct RWC.
Any other cars just need to show RMT or RLO status (depending on the current L/E status)
All cars should show blocked to CSXT. Once you're done, please let the crew know so that they can move the cars to the CSXT OB TRACK.
Prattville Cleaning Crew
This comes from our crew once we physically have the cars.
All cars should already be built into an inbound, from a work order. You will have to go to that work order to inbound the cars. There are no actual waybills for the cars. The cars will not be in order.
Find the existing work order the cars are on, and select the cars in order.
Make sure the date/time is correct.
ICR the cars from CSXT to location crew requested.
Once you have ICR the cars, email the crews back and let them know the cars are online.
