Occasionally a customer will email in a mechanical issue with a car on the ARS.
If you receive an email like this and the car is empty, do not bad order the car.
On the ARS, all cars come in loaded and leave empty. Once a car has been unloaded by a customer, any mechanical issues will be addresses by ARS Operations. If a car is not safe to travel, ARS Operations will instruct us on how to proceed.
ARS Operations will make the local KCS team aware of any mechanical issues, and KCS will make repairs. No action is required on our end for these cars.
