American Rail aka AITX is a shop customer we have on the KAW. There are a few specific processes we'll follow when we receive items for this customer.
KAW AITX Cars to deliver
This report will show all cars for American Rail/AITX that are PAC to the 1745 track. This is their patron track location. For this shop customer, instead of showing the cars online and in a PAC status, we update them to show delivered off to "SHOP".
If no cars are on this report, it can be closed. If we do show cars on the report then we can enter an RMT to release from PAC on the 1745 track. Once they are released from PAC, you can ICH the cars to 'SHOP' a couple minutes after the RMT move.
AITX is also pretty good about keeping up with their inventory, so they'll usually catch cars showing PAC before our report can generate. They'll usually send an email in like the below.
Type up the cars they mention into a switchlist and confirm they are showing online on the KAW. If the cars are showing PAC, enter the RMT and show ICH to SHOP. If they are in PCON, enter an RCP and show ICH to SHOP on track 1745.
AITX Railcar Releases
Roena will send in an email to cs3 with a BOL attachment and car numbers listed in the subject line.
The cars will not show up online, but rather show already delivered off to SHOP. All we'll need to do with these is confirm pending billing in the white waybill queue.
Once we show billing is pending in there, we can do a manual inbound from the SHOP to the 1745 track in Kansas City, MO for current date/time.
Now that the cars are online, reply to Roena and let her know billing has been applied.
