INTERMODAL PROCESS
BEFORE STARTING, PLEASE CHECK THE INTERMODAL BUTTON FOR PENDING BILLING FOR YOUR CONTAINERS.
If Billing is not pending you can also check CLEO and advise the customer that you are still waying for billing to transmit. Do not allow more than a day to pass before resolving this issue.
1. Select intermodal.
2. Select Available to Ramp then Locate. You should see that the cars have pending waybills.
3. Type in the containers hitting enter after each one. (if there are more than 6 numbers on the container, only type in the first 6 numbers). As you type, they will highlight in blue. Hit OK. (If cars are not showing up, they are NOT billed.)
4. Select Ramp
5. Select your flat car. Hit OK.
6. Change the time to show 15” after your original time. Hit OK.
7. Go back to your switch list and F5.
8. Repeat steps 1 - 6 on all the cars until they all show LL or LE and RLO or RMT.
9. Mail a switch list to yourself to get a PDF of the switch.
10. Reply to the road asking you to ramp cars with the PDF switch you sent to yourself and say "Cars have been ramped".
